I am thrilled to receive the news that I am a recipient of The Arts Council of Ireland‘s COVID-19 Crisis Response Award.
In these uncertain times, this is a wonderful opportunity for me to spend time focussing on my art practice while we don’t know what will happen next. I intend to make an experimental piece of digital artwork based on the contemporary idea of landscape. This landscape should encapsulate the 2-kilometre region that I reside within during these strange covid19 restricted times. Footage will be collected while out on irregular exercise walks as permitted and adhering to HSE guidelines. I am curious to explore the boundaries of our limited space and how I can interpret these using my imagination and artistic toolbox.
