“Thinning the Veil” is an experiential 12:06 min piece of video art that explores the mythos of Halloween and the blurring of two worlds through the 5 characters of Celtic folklore: Púca, The Morrígan, Boann, Fear Dearg, Fionn Mac Chumail.
All 5 characters are represented through an atmospheric exploration of light and dark, movement, the natural and the historic Irish landscape. The immersive video work provides an ethereal visual of passages, fire, darkness and light.
The core idea is the exploration of a thinning reality between living and dead through capturing visual metaphors and transforming them into a cohesive visual narrative.
