My changing worldview and portrayal of mankind as a result of many travels and moving countries, which I mix with my personal perspectives, reveries and challenges, is where I find my inspiration. Through Baudelaire’s ideas of the detached observer, I explore the significance of wandering and how this influences our perception of the world. The act of walking, observing and travelling are the habitual preludes to the creation of my paintings, one that depends on inquisitiveness as an inherent facet of creation.
